How to Get Black and White Emojis on Iphone
Hi Bob,
The look and color of emojis vary with each platform you're using. Each emoji has an assigned unicode which "summons" the emoji that is encoded within the platform.
For example, here is the same blushing emoji on two different platforms: Facebook's emoji 
Colored emojis aren't available in Outlook.com right now, but you may share your feedback on the Outlook UserVoice forum since this would be a great feature to add.

Hello Jairit, re Bob's query, I have a "hotmail" email account on Outlook .com and until this morning I have used emojis in colour - now they are only in B&W. Here is an example from a recently sent email:"down the hills
s the other emojis and "characters" available were also in colour. What do we need to do to get them back? Many thanks!

That doesn't answer the question - I also noticed the my emojis (on Hotmail) are not in color any more.
The smileys are not yellow for example, just plain "line drawings" such as😞 😉 💰
They used to be in color. The money bag was green, etc.

Where are you trying to use emojis? On Outlook.com, iPhone app, or Android app?
On Outlook.com, there is a button where all the emojis are located.
If you're using the Outlook app for Android or iPhone, you will find the emoji options within your keyboard.
Also, the issue may be with the computer or device you're using, as we can see yellow emojis from your post, as well as in our test email from above.

I just posted an idea on the Outlook Feedback Forum regarding color Emojis being restored. I would advise you all to go and vote for the idea as this may be the way to get the right attention to this issue. I really miss the color emojis and hope they bring them back soon! :(

Same for me. Until this week my emojis were in color. Now they are B&W and just simple outlines. Pretty ugly.
What happened? How can I get the color restored?

We've just had this reported by a few of our Windows 7 users, sounds like the colour emojis disappeared in the last week or so and have been replaced by black outline ones. My Windows 10 PC are still in colour. Weird.

I had all the colour emojis disappear too but I found that I could get some by going into Settings; Manage Integrations, scroll down to Emojis add-on and switch on.
In a new email, an icon now appears underneath message panel on the far right and that has colour emojis. The original emoji icon is still there with the black and white ones.
I'm not au fait with Add-Ons so maybe switching this on is a bad idea, but I have colour emojis!

One way to express emotion when sending emails in Outlook is by using colored emoji. One of the possible reason why this issue occurs is due to corrupted cache and temporary Internet browser files. To isolate your concern, we'd like to ask the following:
- Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
- Are you using Outlook.com or Outlook app?
- If you're using Outlook.com, have you tried using a different Internet browser to check if the issue is the same?
- Have you tried clearing your browser cache and temporary files and check if the issue is the same?
- What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
