How to Get a Black Dragon in Dragon Story

As if last year wasn't hard enough, it was the first year in more than a decade that there wasn't even one Marvel movie released.Black Widowwas supposed to come out in May 2020, but it was delayed by the pandemic and fans had to wait more than a year for the release date to finally arrive.

Now that it's finally here, MCU fans have a lot to talk about. And they have strong feelings about Taskmaster and what happens next. If you haven't seen the movie yet, be aware: there are spoilers ahead.

Introducing Taskmaster

As Cinema Blend reports, there's lots of buzz about Taskmaster, the villain of Black Widow. This powerful character can copy the fighting style of anyone they face. This makes it very hard to win a battle, because it's like the heroes are fighting themselves.

Although fans of Marvel Comics have many complaints about how the character was handled in the MCU, the storyline has introduced so many twists that fans are eager to see what comes next. What's going to happen to Taskmaster now?

At the end ofBlack Widow, Natasha frees the person trapped in Taskmaster's suit from the people who are controlling her. This settles an old debt for Natasha, giving her a satisfying exit from the franchise.

But fans want to know what's going to happen to Taskmaster. If the end of the movie means that the character's arc is finished, some people think she deserved more screen time.

According to Digital Spy, the villain might come back in later movies. Olga Kurylenko, who plays Taskmaster, hinted at the possibility.

"I think with her, it's a very complicated place. It could be explored a lot more," she said.

But if this is truly the end of the road for Taskmaster, some fans feel that it's a loss for the franchise, because so much more could be done with the character.

But not everyone thinks that it's over for her. Some think that Black Widowis just the beginning.

There are 'openings for the character to return'

Fans took to Reddit to discuss Taskmaster and how the character was developed in the movie. Some felt that Marvel could have done better by her.

"It was a good alignment but they could've used any other villain(who wears a mask) for this purpose," one said. "There was no reason to waste an amazing villain like task master for this."

But others didn't think that she was being wasted in the movie, and there is potential for her future.

"I agree with you that I was disappointed with task master in Black Widow, but I have faith that marvel may work towards a task master as we know from the comics, one commenter explained. "They didn't kill her and now that she has free will, she may develop a personality in upcoming projects."

"I don't think Taskmaster was wasted," another agreed. "Because there's still a lot of openings for the character to return, and with a more accurate depiction. This felt more like Taskmasters origin story. Now Antonia is free, and I'm assuming she still has her mimicry ability. Plus, her mind is probably like swiss cheese, it'd be easy to give us the amnesia story."

People will have to wait to find out what Marvel's plan is for Taskmaster. Her story may be over, or it may have just begun. Fans will be watching and hoping to see more of her in the future.
